This lively march [Marche] is taken from the famous ballet The Nutcracker by Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky.It is heard at the beginning of Act I, Scene No. 2 of the ballet.
This score is an arrangement for easy violin with piano accompaniment.
It is appropriate for Grade 3 violin students.
The violin part is to be played in the first and third positions (although it can also be played entirely in the first position if desired).
