Andantino in G Major, Op. 22, No. 4
Very Easy Melodious Exercise - Very Easy Piece in the First PositionThis short Andantino in G Major, Op. 22, No. 4 is the fourth of six pieces in Elgar's Very Easy Melodious Exercises in the First Position for Violin with Pianoforte Accompaniment, Op. 22.
The violin part of this Andantino is appropriate for Grade 2 violin students.
It can be played entirely in the first position, although we do suggest using the third position in measures 23 and 24.
This Andantino Op. 22, No. 4 is a very expressive piece in which the violin student should pay particular attention to the dynamics, which were carefully specified by Elgar.
