This Allegro in G Major is the second of seven movements in George Frideric Handel's Suite in G Major, HWV 441.This Suite HWV 441 has the following movements :
This suite was first published in London in 1733 in Suites de pièces pour le clavecin, vol. 2 (London: John Walsh, 1733).
Please note that this sheet music includes indications for performing the ornaments (here : trills and mordents) in accordance with the performance practice of the Baroque period.
Namely, trills are played ON the beat, starting on the upper auxiliary note.
Similarly, mordents are played on the beat, as quickly as possible for a biting effect.
Also, it was common during the Baroque period to roll the chords, as can be done in measures 14 and 33.
