This Study Op. 45, No. 52 by Franz Wohlfahrt is a study of ornaments, in particular, trills and double appoggiaturas.It is to be played in the first and third positions.
When playing the trills, we suggest starting on the main note, although one could also very well choose to begin on the upper auxiliary note.
The violinist shall play more or less repercussions depending on his ability.
Likewise, the appoggiaturas may be played before the beat or, if one prefers, on the beat.
