This Study Op. 45, No. 27 by Franz Wohlfahrt is quite challenging in many ways :- Intonation of the broken octaves : remember to keep the fingers on the string as much as possible!
- String crossings : try to keep the right arm and elbow quiet and reach for each string with a flexible wrist and forearm
- Martelé : this study lends itself very well to the practice of martelé. Give to each note a crisp bite by firmly pressing the bow unto the string, and then release it completely
