This very easy piece Wiegenlied [Lullaby - Cradle Song] is the fifth piece in Daniel Gottlob Türk's Handstücke für angehende Klavierspieler.It is set in the key of F Major.
Please note that the sign // in measures 2, 4 and 6 is used by Türk to indicate that the note should be played with a lifting touch in order to round-off the end of the phrase.
This sign should not be confused with the ornament // (trill) of the Baroque English virginalists.
