This Sonatina in D minor, HWV 581 by George Frideric Handel is the sixth and last movement of the Suite No. 4 in D minor, HWV 437.This suite was composed ca 1703-1706, and was first published in London in 1733.
It has six movements :
This Sonatina is appropriate for Grade 8 piano or harpsichord students.
Please note that in this score, we suggest adding cadential trills to measures 31, 34, 38 and 41.
According to the performance practice of the Baroque period, such cadential trills should begin ON the beat, on the upper auxiliary note.
