This Preludio is the first of four movements in the Sonata Op. 5, No. 9 by Arcangelo Corelli, published in Rome in 1700.This sonata was originally composed for violin and basso continuo.
The piano part of this score is a realization of this basso continuo by M.A. Caux.
The violin part is to be played in the first three positions.
