Sonatina in G Major, Opus 36, No. 5 - Sonatine - I : Presto
This Presto is the first movement of this three movement sonatina by Clementi.It features the Classical sonatina form :

- Theme 1 : measures 1-15, beginning in the main key of G Major and modulating to the dominant key of D Major
- Transition : measures 16-24, in D Major
- Theme 2 : measures 25-31, in D Major
- Codetta : measures 32-34, in D Major
- Development : measures 35 to 50

- Theme 1 : measures 51-65, in the main key of G Major
- Transition : measures 66-74, in G Major
- Theme 2 : measures 75-81, in G Major
- Codetta : measures 82-84, in G Major
In particular, appogiaturas are played ON the beat, taking up one half of the main note's value.
Also, trills begin on the main note (although the pianist could also choose to start the trill on the upper auxiliary note), and end with a suffix (termination).
