Please note that this score contains a suggested realization for the trill in measure 54.

This trill should begin with the actual trill note (here : E) and end with a termination.

However, the pianist may choose to start the trill on the upper auxiliary note (F#) if a legato with the preceding note is not desired.

This is in accordance with Clementi's own instructions, as stated in his Introduction to the Art of Playing on the Pianoforte.
