This German Dance in G Major is the eleventh of Ludwig van Beethoven's Twelve German Dances WoO 8.In accordance with the performance practice of the Classical period, the appoggiaturas are to be played very quickly, ON the beat.
Also, please note that the staccato marks in measures 5 and 6 are editorial and were added for the sake of uniformity with measures 1 and 2.
Furthermore, the staccato wedges in measures 20-22 and 30 are editorial and were added to comply with surrounding measures.
