This Study Op. 45, No. 43 by Franz Wohlfahrt is a rapid study written in sixteenth notes slurred 6 or 12 to a bow.It is to be played in the first and third positions.
The violin student should start by practicing this study with 6 notes slurred to a bow, at a rather slow tempo.
Once the student has mastered this, he can increase the tempo and go on to playing 12 notes per bow.
This study can also very well be practiced with détaché or even with spiccato.
