This Study Op. 45, No. 6 by Franz Wohlfahrt is made up entirely of the bowing pattern two slurred, two detached.It is to be practiced both with whole bows and then with short and rapid strokes in the middle of the bow.
This study can be played entirely in the first position.
It is an excellent study for both the right-hand technique (bow division) and the left-hand technique (rapid passages with many accidentals in the key of F Major).
Be sure to practice it first slowly with a very precise whole bow division, and then faster, in the middle of the bow.
