This Study in G Major, Op. 45, No. 4 by Franz Wohlfahrt is excellent for practicing bow division.This study is entirely written with the rhythm pattern one eighth note, two sixteenth notes.
It can be played entirely in the first position.
It can be practiced either with small bows or with whole bow division.
However, the violinist should keep in mind that the eighth notes are to take twice as much bow as the sixteenth notes.
