This Andantino in C Major, Op. 50, No. 1 by Mauro Giuliani is the first piece in Giuliani's Le Papillon pour guitare seule, Op. 50.

It is appropriate for Grade 1 guitar students.

It has an A-A' (theme and variation) musical form :

Phrase A (measures 1 to 16) : theme in C Major, consisting in a melody in double notes
Phrase A' (measures 17 to 32) : variation on the same melody but this time with an eighth note accompaniment

Please note that in measure 22, the original edition has A4 as the last note of voice 2, instead of G4 in all other editions.

We believe this to be an error and use the G4.
