Sonatine - First movement : Arietta (Andante cantabile)
With its simple form and tuneful melody, this Sonatina in C Major, op. 41, no. 1 by Johann Baptist Vanhal is a favorite among teachers and students alike.
It consists of a short cadenza followed by two movements :
