Bourrée in C minor
Bourrée in C minor
Bourree from the Notebook for Wolfgang
This tuneful Bourrée in C minor is attributed to Leopold Mozart. It is part of the Notebook for Wolfgang, which Leopold Mozart put together in 1762 for his young son Wolfgang, who was then six years old.
Please note that In measure 2, left hand, second beat, we put a G3 instead of the E4 appearing in the source and which we believe to be an error (see measure 24).
This score contains suggestions for performing the ornaments (here : appoggiaturas and trills) in accordance with the performance practice of the pre-Classical period.
Also, we thing that the quarter notes in this Bourrée should be played slightly detached unless otherwise indicated.
Please note also that the phrasing and dynamics indications given in this score are editorial.
