This Allegro is the first movement of this beautiful three movement sonatina by Muzio Clementi.This sonatina has three movements :
The present sheet music includes the first movement, labelled Allegro.
This movement features three main sections :
- Exposition : measures 1 to 15
- Development : measures 16 to 23
- Recapitulation : measures 24 to 38
- Theme 1 : exposed in measures 1 to 7 and recapitulated in measures 24 to 30, both times in the main key of C Major
- Theme 2 : exposed in the dominant key of G Major in measures 8 to 15 and recapitulated in the main key of C Major in measures 31 to 38.
