Bach, Wilhelm Friedemann (1710-1784)
Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was a German composer and organist of the Baroque and early Classical periods.
Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was the second child and eldest son of Johann Sebastian Bach and his first wife Maria Barbara.
J. S. Bach supervised Friedemann's musical education with great attention.
This is documented in the Klavierbüchlein für Wilhelm Friedemann Bach [Clavier-Büchlein vor Wilhelm Friedemann Bach], which contains entries by both father and son.
